Discovered, not declared.

No other company decides the way yours does.

Every company has an unwritten logic behind how it actually decides. We help leaders of mid-sized companies see theirs clearly enough to build on it.

Why culture work needs a different starting point.

Most culture projects measure a company against a general framework, a set of types or dimensions applied to every client. What comes back is a profile that could describe a hundred companies, written in words the company never used and never will. The posters go up and the behavior stays the same.

We met at Walking the Talk, where Cris was a co-founder and Bob built the products, and we saw the limits of the usual approach in our own work. That approach treats culture as a problem: describe it in general terms, then set about changing it. We treat it as an asset. Over the years your company has settled the same hard trade-offs again and again: growth against margin, speed against craft, the customer against the standard. The way it settles them belongs to your company alone. Nobody designed it and no competitor lived through it, so nobody can copy it. It is the one advantage a rival cannot buy, and most companies have never put it to work.

The whole picture.
A more useful way forward.

We give you a short, plain account of how your company really decides, one its own people recognize at once. With it you can choose strategies the company will carry and stop paying for ones it will quietly reject. You can see which strengths are being overused and which are fading. And when you do decide to change something, you will know what it costs before you start.

NoOther is new. We are looking for a small number of companies to run pilot projects with us or to work alongside us as design partners. If you lead a company of roughly 200 to 2,000 people and you are scaling, integrating an acquisition, preparing a succession, or recovering from a culture program that changed nothing, we would like to talk. We do not produce benchmarks, scores, or rankings against peers.

You get a description that fits your company and no other, in your own language, with every claim traceable to its evidence.

Two founders.
A shared conviction.

Cris has spent her career alongside the people who decide, as an executive and then as their adviser. Bob has spent his building products and running companies. They share one conviction: a company's way of deciding is its most durable asset, and it deserves to be understood before anyone tries to change it.

Cris is the author of the NoOther method, a way of reading a company that was not possible until now. She began in language software, where she conceived a Portuguese grammar checker later built into Microsoft Office, then co-founded Walking the Talk and led culture work with boards on four continents. There she saw the limits of even the best projects: they heard from a small sample of people, fitted what they heard to a ready-made framework, and asked the client to take the conclusions on trust. Her method removes those limits. It hears far more of the company, keeps the company's own words, tests rival explanations against each other, and ties every conclusion to its evidence. Built on AI from the start, it also costs far less, which puts that depth within reach of mid-sized companies.

Bob is building NoOther: the product, and the company around it. He has done both jobs before. At Walking the Talk, alongside Cris, he took culture tools from idea to market and learned where they stopped working. He then grew a civil construction company from no customers to more than $10 million in annual revenue in five years, making the kind of decisions under pressure that NoOther now studies. Trained in physics, mathematics, and philosophy, he holds the product to one rule: the stories people tell about their company are evidence, and every conclusion has to answer to them.

Let's start a conversation.

If the gap between what your company says and how it behaves has started to cost money, write to us. We also welcome notes from people working on the same questions.
